Which zone transmute volatile air

Also, if you have the Engineering profession, you can obtain Volatile Air with the Electrostatic Condenser. Farming Volatile Water is a little more forgiving than Volatile Air, however, you are fighting more difficult mobs.

The drop rate is a little better than the Volatile Air Farming. You can also use your Fishing profession. You need to fish pools in the Cataclysms zones.

If you plan on farming Volatile Fire, then your luck has changed slightly as there are multiple zones and mobs you can choose from to do this. The drop rates for both of the mobs are typically the same. There are only 4 pools, and only 2 pools are active at anytime, so competition to farm these pools is steep. Generally speaking, the pools provide 1 or 2 Volatile Fire per catch, with 5 or 6 catches per pool.

You can easily get your hands on Fire, with no fighting in less than 5 minutes. Mining the dead mobs from both of these places can also provide bonus Volatile Earth. Sadly, Volatile Life is really only obtainable from the Herbalism profession.

Thanks for the clarification on zones and what we will receive : I actually just changed that modifier right before your post. Good catch, though! Now, if you'll excuse, I have some basic arithmetic to re-learn. Lylirra Friday, December 10, PM. As a correction to this statement, alchemists with Transmutation specialization will currently only have a chance to receive bonus Volatile elements when completing Transmute: Living Elements.

The bonus and its chance of success will not be determined by the zone in which the transmutation is completed. Apologies for the confusion. After testing, this has been confirmed as intended. We're aware that performing Transmute: Living Elements while in Deepholm does not currently yield any Volatile Earth and are working to apply a hotfix as we speak. Please note that once this hotfix is applied, you will no longer receive both Volatile Air and Volatile Earth when using the transmute in Uldum.

Instead, you will only receive Volatile Air excluding bonus procs. This was an unintended side-effect and will be addressed shortly. Juuna Friday, December 17, PM.

Narul Sunday, December 19, AM. It's less punishing if you miss a transmute. Something I did notice on the other hand was before 4. Now it seems I get every other volatile except the one I was transmuting. It seem's like they fixed it so if you transmute air the proc will rarely be the volatile you were aiming for. It really kinda sucks.

Has anyone else noticed this? Edit: To clarify to the posts below saying they can proc more then , im aware of that I was simply giving an example as to HOW the transmutation procs had changed. As this spell shares a cooldown with Truegold, and Transmute: Truegold was valued over Transmute: Living Elements, no one would ever use the Living Elements transmute.

However, as we all know, one volatile would always get too expensive. As most of us know, you can go to the respective zone Hyjal - Fire Deepholm - Earth Uldum - Air Vash'jir - Water to get a volatile of your choice, so this spell, Transmute: Living Elements, essentially always gives you the Volatile you want. They aren't moderately priced, though? Use Living Elements, and make great use of the cheap Volatile Life that exists on every server, or the herbalist that you raised to with alchemy.

Comment by LiriellGarrosh As of patch 5. Comment by gfxdiva As of 31March - this is indeed on the Transmute: Living Steel Cooldown of one per day So as an alchemist - you must choose between the Living Steel xmute or the Volatile xmute as they do share the same exact cooldown.
